CARE is Responsibility

ARE recognizes a component of recovery is for individuals to accept responsibility for their actions while under the influence of alcohol and/or other drugs.

In cooperation with the judicial system, CARE integrates individual and group counseling to educate offenders on the effects of substance abuse not only on the individual, but also on the family and society. Some of the programs offered include:

  • DRUG COURT - a positive, innovative, and cost effective approach to dealing with individuals who have a history of substance abuse and are involved in the court system. The program is an intensive three-phase outpatient program involving both treatment and judicial components. The program is approximately one year in length and is by Drug Court team admission only.

  • SPECIAL SUPERVISION SERVICES - Hardship provision that allows individuals with a five or ten year license revocation to apply for a hardship license contingent upon completion of the DUI Program, substance abuse treatment, and refraining from alcohol or other drugs for an established time period.
